James 4:10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up. NKJV

Promotion comes from God. Your faithfullness, and dedication God sees and knows. According to Romans 11:29 God does not withdraw the spiritual gifts and talents He has given you. He does not change His mind. But, we can always grow and bring our gifts to excelllence. This is when promotion happens.
